In late 2021, as a new stay-at-home mom, I felt the pull to create something of my own. On a whim, I told my husband, “Let’s go to Best Buy—I want to try photography.” That small moment turned into something so meaningful—Hannah Purdy Photography. What started as curiosity became a true passion. I love capturing real moments—the laughter, the quiet in-betweens, the genuine connection—and preserving them for you.

Family


My husband and my son are the heart behind everything I do. If you’ve ever wondered why I’m so passionate about photography, it all starts with them. Family has always meant everything to me—it’s something that was instilled in me from a young age. Now, it’s not just something I value, it’s something I live every single day. Nick and I will celebrate seven years of marriage this June, and our sweet Hayes turns SIX in September (excuse me while I cry)! They are my why, and they’re the reason I see so much beauty in the little, everyday moments. Because of them, I understand just how quickly time passes—and how important it is to hold onto the moments that matter. That’s why capturing your story means so much to me.

Motherhood


Motherhood is the most meaningful part of my life. Being a mama to my sweet boy, Hayes, is a love I don’t even have words for. Since he was born in September 2020, he has filled my days with a kind of joy I never knew was possible. The little moments, the laughter, the way he looks at me—those are the things I hold closest.


Being his mom is the greatest honor of my life. I’m raising a little human I hope will grow to do something beautiful in this world, and that feeling is everything to me.
